About Brownsburg, Indiana Real Estate

The motto of the Town of Brownsburg is “Community on the Move”, and it is considered a motorsports mecca. The town has been recognized twice by CNN Money Magazine as one of the country’s “Best Places to Live.” The recognition is well-deserved because of its strong per capita income and economy. The crime rate is extremely low, and there is quality public education. Another perk is affordable housing making it an ideal choice for settlement.

Brownsburg is located just a few minutes away from Indianapolis in northeast Hendricks County. Transportation is swift and easy as the town sits on the Interstate I-74, just twenty minutes away from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The White River tributary passes through the west of the town center and flows from north to south. Brownsburg is a small and quaint town, ideal for living, and the community is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment. The town is also one of the two major hotel hubs. It bolsters commercial and business activities and progress, and there are countless opportunities for quality education, employment, and recreation.

Despite a population of just under 30,000, it is one of the fastest-growing communities in Indiana. Brownsburg also boasts the world’s most prestigious drag racing event, and there are multiple motorsports team headquarters located here. The community is diverse, engaged, proactive, and well-informed, and very inclusive.

The five elected Town Council members undertake all legislative and executive tasks. The bureaucracy is competent and manages town facilities and operations seamlessly. In addition, there are many active civic groups in Brownsburg. Here is a list of groups that people can get involved in and give input on administrative processes:
